It combines the best characters from many cultures: Turkish, Arabic, Mediterranean, Balkan, Caucasian and others… Best chefs of the magnificent period, during many centuries, created their culinary masterpieces for the Sultans and their courtiers. Recipes were carefully stored and transmitted from one generation to another! Unfortunately, with the fall of the Ottoman Empire, this unique legacy almost completely disappeared and became oblivious. ⠀ We believe that this is wrong and unfair! And we really want to fix it!!

Comida exquisita, lugar agradable y atención de primera categoría.
En nuestra última noche en Estambul y antes de salir al aeropuerto decidimos buscar donde comer, nos topamos con este lugar, con estrella michelin, nos recibió el chef quien fue muy amable. Cada plato delicioso lo cual junto a la atención espectacular de UMUT hizo que nos despidiéramos de Estambul de la mejor manera. Hasta pudimos tomarnos fotografías con trajes típicos Turcos. Súper recomendado este restaurante.

The food here it was fantastic. İt stays on the old city side of Istanbul. They are doing classical Turkish cuisine there with best quality. I can recommend you to visit this place. And you can try The Lamb Rack

Cuisine was authentic and delicious; service was beyond superb
We had a guide bring us to this restaurant. One of the chefs had been honored to represent Turkish cuisine in a diplomatic venture. We had chicken and beef kebab, as well as an impressive shrimp appetizer. We also participated in the cooking class. What fun we had! And how much we learned! We will definitely be back. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
